As They Await Congressional Action, Community Health Centers Are Facing A Perfect Storm

Writing in HEALTH AFFAIRS FOREFRONT, the authors discuss the  importance of the  federal Community Health Center Fund to  the core  core mission of community health centers: to serve their communities without regard to patients’ insurance coverage or ability to pay. Grants are an indispensable part of health center funding that  enable health centers to make critical investments in new sites, expanded staffing, and new services.
